Prime Point Wellness Centre was born from a simple belief: that no one should have to travel hundreds of kilometers or empty their savings just to walk again.
From one clinic to five hubs across Kenya.
Prime Point Wellness Centre was founded in 2018 by Dr. Sarah Kiprop, a prosthetist and orthotist who saw firsthand the challenges faced by patients in rural Kenya. Too often, people with limb loss or mobility impairments were forced to travel to distant cities, spending weeks away from their families and life savings just to get fitted for a device.
What started as a single clinic in Kapsabet has grown into a network of five hubs across the North Rift and beyond, supported by a mobile outreach program that brings care directly to communities in need. Today, Prime Point serves patients from over 9 counties and has delivered more than 300 prosthetic devices — but our work is far from done.
We remain committed to our founding vision: to make orthotic and prosthetic care accessible, affordable and available in every corner of Kenya.
Our Journey So Far
Founded
Prime Point Wellness Centre is established in Kapsabet, Kenya, with a mission to improve access to orthotic and prosthetic care.
First Outreach
Launched our first mobile outreach camp, reaching patients in Kericho County who had never had access to prosthetic care.
Expansion
Opened our second hub in Eldoret and served over 200 patients in our first full year of operations.
Partnerships
Established formal partnerships with the Ministry of Health and Swissability, strengthening our capacity to serve more patients.
Reaching Further
Expanded to four hubs across the North Rift, with outreach programs reaching 9+ counties.
Lodwar Hub Opens
Opened our fifth hub in Lodwar, extending our reach to northern Kenya and the Turkana region.
300+ Prosthetics
Celebrated delivering over 300 prosthetic devices and countless orthotic devices to patients across Kenya.

Kenneth Meli
CEO & Founder
Mr. Kenneth Meli is a certified prosthetist and orthotist with over 15 years of experience in rehabilitation medicine. He founded Prime Point Wellness Centre to bridge the gap between urban healthcare facilities and rural communities in Kenya. His vision is to make mobility accessible to every Kenyan, regardless of their location or financial status.

David Kipngeno
Hub Manager, Kapsabet Main Hub
David oversees the daily operations of our flagship hub in Kapsabet. With a background in healthcare administration and community outreach, he ensures that every patient receives compassionate, high-quality care from the moment they walk through the door.
Jane Chepkwony
Hub Manager, Eldoret Hub
Jane is a clinical officer with a passion for orthotics and prosthetics. She leads the Eldoret team with a focus on patient-centered care and has been instrumental in expanding our services to the surrounding communities.
Michael Kiprop
Hub Manager, Chepseon Hub
Michael brings over a decade of experience in community health and rehabilitation. He manages the Chepseon Hub, which serves as a vital access point for patients from Kericho, Baringo, Nakuru and Bomet Counties.
Grace Chepkorir
Hub Manager, Cheptebo Hub
Grace is a trained physiotherapist with a special interest in pediatric rehabilitation. She leads the Cheptebo Hub in the Kerio Valley, ensuring that even the most remote communities receive timely orthotic and prosthetic care.
Samuel Lokorai
Hub Manager, Lodwar Hub
Samuel is a community development specialist with deep roots in the Turkana region. He manages the Lodwar Hub, coordinating outreach programs and ensuring culturally sensitive care for the communities in northern Kenya.
